Tumorous microenvironment is constituted with cancer cells, fibroblasts, immune cells (macrophages, neutrophils, monocytes: T cells, platelets), and endothelial cells. These complex combinations might be the reason of resistance from treatments (immunotherapy and chemotherapy). Therefore, our team provides an environment where the researchers could test in a right model. A gradient of medication microfluidic channels is composed with microenvironment system. This gradient channel has two inlets. One could study a diluted concentration of medicine or a combination of two medications. For example, chemotherapy medicine with immunotherapy medicine.
